Bar Alluf Junior Research Affiliate

Bar Alluf received his bachelor of art from Yeshiva University, New York, New York. He graduated with a dual degree in mathematics and physics. He was granted the Bertha Kressel Research Scholarship, which was a unique opportunity to conduct research regarding the resilience in power-law networks and electric grids; this opened the door for collaboration with other scientists using a synthetic network that represents an electric grid to study the effects of cascades due to failure or attacks. Alluf intends to pursue a PhD in physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Alluf is fascinated with Wolfram's A New Kind of Science and is assured the Wolfram Summer School will be advantageous for his future career as a physicist. In his spare time, you can find Alluf exercising, doing yoga or playing basketball.
