Hatem Elshatlawy Research Affiliate

Hatem Elshatlawy studied physics at the University of Freiburg and the University of Vienna. His specialization was in theoretical physics and scientific computation. Currently he is doing his master's degree at RWTH Aachen University, specializing in quantum science and technology. He was a visiting scholar at the Erwin Schrödinger International Institute for Mathematics and Physics (ESI) working on quantum information theory, completed a research internship at Daimler AG on quantum algorithms that are inspired by industrial use cases, and most recently participated in the Wolfram Summer School in the Fundamental Physics track. He is especially interested in fundamental physics, the physics of computation and the computation of physics.
